ABOUT THE CLASS

I learned to handstand as an adult (at 50!) with no previous gymnastics or tumbling experience! Just because you didn’t take gymnastics as a kid doesn’t mean you should avoid handstands! Because, not only are handstands fun (I mean, really, what’s more fun than being upside down and feeling like a kid again?), they’re actually really good for you.

Why learn to Handstand?

  • Handstands build core strength.

  • Handstands improve bone density.

Join me for a week of live Zoom classes and make progress wherever you are on your handstand journey. Here’s what we will cover each day:

  • Day 1 - Hands and wrists: your handstand foundation.

  • Day 2 - Shoulders: balancing strength and mobility.

  • Day 3 - Hollowbody + core: how to engage those TVAs + how to fall safely!

  • Day 4 - Endurance: building your handstand strength.

  • Day 5 - Handstand movement drills + entry options.

All levels welcome!

  • Beginners - We will build your handstand from the ground up!

  • More experienced hand balancers - we will break it all down and rebuild your handstand so you can find increased stability and greater hang time!
